Our journey began in September 2023 with a simple vision - to create quality open water products with a difference and inject a splash of colour into the world of outdoor and sports accessories.

Inspired by the beautiful Donaghadee bay and harbour in Co Down, Northern Ireland, and the stunning rainbows that stretch across the Irish Sea over the Copeland Islands, beachbuoy was born.

We set out to create something a little bit different for the open water community. Something vibrant, something that would stand out against the backdrop of the open sea and the countless single coloured tow floats we could see from our front window.

So in March 2024 we launched our first product - the rainbow beachbuoy tow float/dry bag. Unique, funky, and easy to spot, our tow float boasts a dazzling rainbow design that not only adds a pop of colour to your adventures but also ensures safety and convenience.
